Thursday 28 November saw a very enjoyable and successful fundraising event for us when Caroline from Redhouse Stables organised a wreath making session at Forest Garden Centre in Two Dales. Over 30 people attended and were provided with an oasis ring by the garden centre and an amazing selection of greenery that Caroline had collected. Emma Bamford from Forest Garden Centre started off the session by demonstrating how to attach the greenery to the ring and then provided helpful advice throughout the afternoon. A wide selection of foliage, decorations and ribbons provided by the garden centre were on sale, which enabled all present to produce some beautiful wreaths! At the end of the afternoon, everyone was invited across to the Tall Trees restaurant for a hot drink and homemade cakes. We would like to thank Emma and Forest Garden Centre for their support in putting on this event.
